About me
NALDO ESPANHOL

My name is Arnaldo Espanhol, born December 21, 1988, I am a Brazilian independent visual artist, living in Presidente Prudente/SP. My arts are characterized by abstractionism and minimalism, and I seek inspiration in reference artists (Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Cristina Ripper), in visual representation tools found in movies, documentaries, series and my favorite music styles: Metal and House.
Since my childhood, I have enjoyed drawing. Manga, realism, architectural drawing and India ink were my first experiences.
Between the years 2007 and 2017, in search of financial stability, I was working in banking and financial market, which momentarily kept me away from the canvases. However, with the passing of my grandmother, Adélia Marangoni Espanhol, among moments of uncertainty and insecurity, I gave room, after 10 years, to express myself again through ink and paper, full of my own feelings, which has been my current professional and personal priority.
The aspects that stand out in my personality are intensity, density, reflections, and questionings about the most varied themes. I express these aspects through strong, striking, emotion-filled colors. My main competencies are improvisation and adaptation during the creative process, and the ability to work in proportion.
Collectors, designers, architects, and people looking for unique canvas art have been my current target audience, and in the long term, I plan to consolidate myself as a visual artist, regardless of the form of representation (analog or digital).
I am an emerging Brazilian artist creating unique designs and art on canvas and paper which makes it possible to give identity and/or originality to various internal environments, always seeking to instigate my clients to reflect on the feelings that the work makes possible.
